How Custom Aluminum Drip Edge with
Ice and Water Barrier Solves All
Of Your Eave Protection Issues

To say that it is particularly vulnerable to water and ice damage would be an understatement. 

About half of the roofs that we inspect don't have any type of protection here except for maybe the existing shingles and a layer of 15# roofing felt.  That leaves plenty of room for improvement; so we have developed an upgrade for that!

First we add our Custom formed aluminum drip edges to insure that all water flowing down your new roof ends up in the aluminum gutters -- and not soaking into the sub-roof and fascia -- causing fungus, mold, and rot.

We manufacture these drip edges on-site by skillfully bending painted siding-grade aluminum with a special sheet metal brake so that the flashings will fit your house exactly.

Ice and Water Barrier is then applied at all gutter edges, valleys, (and around penetrations) to guard against wind driven rain and ice dams in the winter. (Ice & Water Barrier is now a building code requirement in MD.)


 This "sticky backed" barrier forms a weatherproof bond with the subroof AND the new aluminum drip edge ...permanently protecting plywood, OSB underlay, and the finishing lumber underneath (like fascia boards and soffit).

I haven't noticed any other contractors do anything like this ...
